Prof. Seok-Hyung Bae received Award for Excellence in Teaching from President Kwang Hyung Lee on the 51st anniversary of KAIST, for making a significant contribution to improving the quality of student education with outstanding lectures in 2021, by teaching ID430A Special Topics in Design V <Interactive Software Design>.

This course deals with design theories and practices to help students develop highly interactive software systems, in a quick, easy, and robust manner. Step-by-step design and coding exercises allows students to learn 1) visual communication techniques to effectively represent and modify interaction and system ideas and 2) error-free coding styles to faithfully implement the ideas. Students also have opportunities to propose, design, and implement their own interactive software systems in an iterative and progressive manner, acquiring the core ability of design thinking.
